How Does Sound Therapy Work?

Sound therapy uses sound, music, and vibration to promote physical, emotional, and mental well-being. Sound affects our body and mind at the cellular level, and by using specific sounds and frequencies, we can restore balance and harmony to the body’s systems. Sound therapy is highly effective at triggering our relaxation response, which counters the many symptoms caused by chronic stress, while helping to balance our whole being.

As a qualified sound therapist, I use specific instruments and apply appropriate techniques to activate and stimulate healthy physiological activity in the body. The aim is to support the body’s natural ability to heal itself.

I work with a wide variety of sound healing instruments including crystal and Tibetan bowls, tuning forks, drums, monochord and voice.
